Newcastle Uni Anime Club

Hey everyone, and welcome to the new Anime Club Website!

The Anime Club is a social group at the university of newcastle, dedicated to Japanese animation, and all things associated.

Anyone is welcome to the club, we watch a wide range of styles and genres, and usually play games like trivia and stuff.

So if this sounds like fun, here are the details!

UPDATE:

We now have our own domain name and forums for the club, so we will be using them instead of this page.

I will keep updating this one as needed though.

Which is still under construction, but will be our primary point of contact.

Anime club meetings - consisting of watching and discussing anime, as well as games and social events.

We also have our own DVD library which members can borrow from at no cost!

Mondays and Thursdays - 5:30 to 8:30pm - Mondays we will be watching fansubs direct from japan, and Thursday we watch the officially released dvd titles. 

This means that the first official meeting will be on monday the 2nd of march.

Room EF122 - In the engineering department. The EF building is opposite the walkway from the large ES building. Our room is upstairs, tucked up the back. NOTE - The EF building's doors automatically lock at 6pm, so if you get locked out, give me a ring!

Anyone can come along, student or not - but be warned, some of our series can get a bit unsuitable for children. - If you want to bring your kids, could you please let me know in advance and we will talk about the series we are currently watching.

As mentioned earlier, we also play games each week revolving around anime somehow, so come along!!

 small notes: after discussing with a few of the regular members, i will be slightly changing the way the voting of new series is done. By that i mean that i will become less of a president and more of a dictator........but who cares, you voted me in anyway.......
