Get your face painted and show off your juggling act at the U’s colourful carnival O Party at Bar on the Hill, Friday 1 March. Entry is free for U Members – sign up online now!

With two stages bursting with live music you can choose to clown around on the lawn outside and enjoy the sounds of the creepy Bones Jones and the Skeletones and The Hatty Fatners or take the tightrope walk on the inside stage with Hashtag Djs then Paul Masters and MC Kitch to make sure your night stays alive.

Discover the sideshow alley and relive your childhood carnival memories with pie throwing or take out a duck on the Nerf Gun shooting range.

Anyway you go, it’s sure to be an entertaining way to get your balancing act in order before semester kicks off.

As always there will be free buses to get you home safely, buses will depart Bar on the Hill and can drop you at Hamilton or Newcastle Train Station.

This is a student party and we know nothing is more tricky than trying to juggle your dollars on a night out - Wind up Wednesday drink prices will continue allllllll night long. That's a hilarious $3.50 for Beer and $4 spirits!

As with all our themed parties there will be a prize for best dressed! So stop clowning around and work on your carnival flair - the person voted as the best dressed will win a $200 Westfield Voucher. There’s also a $200 Westfield Voucher for the best-dressed team to share! Finalists will be selected at 9pm, we’ll then open it up to public vote on our facebook page so everyone can vote, voting closes Midday Friday 8 March.

Please note: Sharp plastic knives and other dangerous costume accessories will not be allowed into the venue.
