Congratulations on the completion of your degree!

From all of us at UoN Services Limited we hope that your time at the University of Newcastle has been enjoyable and that in addition to your degree you take away great friends and memories.

If you are going to attend your graduation ceremony you will need to reserve your academic dress for the ceremony online, as it is a requirement of participation that you wear the full academic dress of the degree or diploma in which you are graduating.

Academic dress comprises a gown, a hood and a black cap (trencher/bonnet), all in the Cambridge style.

Academic Dress Hire:

To reserve your academic dress you must read and accept the following Terms and Conditions, and then complete the Reservation Form.

Graduation Functions:

Join University lecturers and staff for morning tea, afternoon tea or supper in the Brennan Room, Shortland Building, after each ceremony.

Tickets are $8.50 per person and may be booked online at the same time as booking your academic dress hire.

Graduation Memorabilia:

To remember this important event, you will be able to purchase University memorabilia; have a professional photograph taken and framed; or have your testamur mounted on plaque.

All of these services will be available in the Brennan Room, Shortland Building, on your Graduation Day.
