Both bars on campus are available to hire for a range of functions, from gigs to 21st birthday parties and even balls! The U is pleased to offer a range of food and beverage packages designed to suit your event. Contact campus-life@newcastle.edu.au for more details.
Clubs and Societies
The U provides discounted room hire, a Clubs and Societies function menu and event packages for Bar on the Hill and the GT Bar. It’s a great on campus option and everything is packaged up at a great rate including security, cleaning and entertainment if needed. Pop into the Glasshouse at Bar on the Hill or email campus-life@newcastle.edu.au for further info or fill out our Clubs and Societies Events Enquiry Form online.

You can have your event catered as well with help from Sapphire Catering. Sapphire Catering cover all types of events and functions and can even deliver off site catering.
