O Month 2014
O Month is a month of community building where you get to experience the best of College life before the serious study begins.
The six key areas of ResLife – Academic, Social, Environmental, Cultural, Life Skills, Health and Wellbeing – form the basis of the O Month program which is brought to you by the ResLife team along with the Residential Assistants. There will also be additional social activities provided by the college’s association teams. You will receive more information about this upon arrival.
The events and activities of O Month have been created to help you settle into college while creating a true sense of community and making the most of cosmopolitan college life and your new home city of Newcastle or Ourimbah.
These activities will include College Kick Off on February 5th – a not-to-be-missed social event for residents only - Intercollegiate sports, a Newcastle Jet’s game, cooking classes, academic support workshops, faculty based events, formal dinners and association events.
O Month will be a great opportunity to get to know all the new residents who will be coming on board in 2014, so make sure you move in at the start of February to take full advantage of everything that is on offer.
Some events require you to RSVP once only via this form. If you do not see an event on this form, it does not require you to RSVP. Make sure you take note of the events that you wish to attend and put them in your diary.
PLEASE NOTE: Some events have a cost. This will be billed to your StarRez account unless otherwise advertised.
